What is TRX energy and why do I need it for USDT transfers?
TRX energy is a network resource on the TRON blockchain required to execute smart contracts, including USDT (TRC-20) transfers. Each USDT transfer consumes approximately 65,000 energy units (or 131,000 if the recipient has never held USDT). Without sufficient energy, the network burns your TRX tokens to cover the cost — typically 6.5 TRX per transfer.
How does energy rental work on TronRental?
TronRental delegates energy to your TRON address from our staking pool. When you initiate a USDT transfer, the network detects the delegated energy and uses it instead of burning your TRX. The delegation is instant (within seconds) and lasts for the duration you choose — from 1 hour to 30 days. After the rental period, the energy automatically returns to our pool.

How fast is the energy delegation?
Energy is delegated within seconds of your order being confirmed. For Instant Buy, delegation happens automatically as soon as your TRX or USDT payment is detected on-chain.
